The hotel is situated on top of a hill surrounded by serene nature. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly even though they could not speak english. Breakfast and Dinner was good. Pool and Sauna Area was well maintained. Plenty of towels in rooms so very nice if you in and out of the spa area during the day.

Hotel is old and requires some refurbishment. It is not an easy drive to the Ski areas in Winterberg as the hotel is on a mountain and can be difficult to navigate to in the evenings and during snowy conditions. The spa was fully booked for any treatments so i would recommend making a booking before your arrival. The Hotel had no english channels on the television which can be a bit frustrating.

We also appreciated the extra effort made by the staff to decorate the common areas and make it festive.
